The secret to getting things done – Powerful networks!

Tuesday, October 17, 2017

10:30 am – 11:30 am – Queenston Hall

As companies expand and become more complex, one of the tough challenges for many people is learning how to lead effectively without authority. This can be unfamiliar territory that requires a new set of skills. True power, to get things done, does not come from a title or position. Rather it comes from the value you produce for your internal and external customers. Effective Influencers use persuasion, mutual understanding, empathy, authenticity and transparency to build trust. They maintain strong relationships and focus on identifying problems and finding solutions. They are intentional about nurturing and growing their professional network both inside and outside of the organization. In this talk, you’ll learn how to develop these critical skills and set yourself up for success.
